Divine Force prevails in Caymanas Park feature

Commentary by Track Announcer Brian Rickman

The 4-5 favourite Divine Force prevailed in Saturday's feature event at Caymanas Park, the Lloyd Lindburg "Lindy" Delapenha Memorial Trophy for Overnight Allowance runners, 3 year old and up over a mile.

Divine Force was recording back to back trophy race victories and went from gate to wire under the inform Tevin Foster for 14-time former champion trainer Phillip Feanny. The 4 year old bay colt covered the distance in 1:39.4 to win by a length and a quarter.

Meanwhile, the inform Raddesh Roman reclaimed the lead in the jockeys' championship after booting home a double to move his tally to 15, wins one clear of Foster.

6-time former champion Omar Walker opened and closed the programme with Galway Bay and Baby Love respectively. Racing continues in midweek with a 10-race Ash Wednesday programme.
