Former Olympic and World Championship sprint hurdles gold medallist Omar McLeod has signalled his intention to challenge for a spot on Jamaica's team to next month's 20th staging of the World Indoor Championships in Nanjing, China.
Competing in his second meet of the season at the ISTAF Indoor Berlin 2025 on Friday, the 2016 world indoor champion clocked a season's best 7.65 seconds to finish behind winner Jason Joseph of Switzerland who won in 7.63 seconds.
Manuel Mordi of Germany ended third in 7.67. McLeod, who still owns the national indoor record of 7.41 seconds, had opened his season five days ago with 7.68 seconds at the Paris indoor meeting.
