Portmore United beat Chapelton Maroons in JPL action

Led by a double from Jeremy Lynch, Portmore United defeated Chapelton Maroons 3-0 in their Wary and Nephew Jamaica Premier League (JPL) at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex on Wednesday. Lynch scored in the 79th and 84th minutes, while Romeo Guthrie netted the other in the 38th.

Elsewhere, Waterhouse clipped Harbour View 1-0 at the Harbour View Mini Stadium. Andre Fletcher scored the all-important goal in the 13th minute. 

Meanwhile, in the battle of the cellar dwellers, hosts Dunbeholden and Vere United played to 1-1 draw. Leaders Mount Pleasant FA and defending champions Cavalier will renew their rivalry in one of four games on Thursday.

Elsewhere on Thursday, the promoted Racing United FC  who got a point out of their game against Cavalier on Monday, will entertain Tivoli Gardens at Ferdi Neita Park.

In the two late games, Arnett Gardens will host Molynes United, while Humble Lion will travel to the Montego Bay Sports Complex for their game against the hosts. Both games kick off at 6:30.
