Radio Jamaica Sports understands that the Reggae Boyz could face Serbia and Japan in two friendly internationals next month. The matches are tentatively slated for June 3 and 7.
While not confirming the matches when contacted by Radio Jamaica Sports, a highly placed jff official said a statement regarding the matches would be made early next week.
It's further understood that the games will form part of a 4-team tournament. This follows news on Thursday that the Reggae Girlz will face defending World Cup champions the United States and African champions Nigeria in a pair of friendly internationals next month as well.
The Reggae Boyz have faced Serbia once in international football and that was a friendly in May 2014 in the United States which the Jamaicans lost 2-1.
Incidentally, the last time Jamaica played Japan was also in 2014 in a friendly international in Nagata which the Reggae Boyz lost 1-0.
