Reggae boyz midfielder Jobi McAnuff says they are not concerned about the manner in which they have progressed to the CONCACAF Gold Cup semi finals.
Some of the players appeared exhausted during the 1-0 quarter final win over Haiti on Saturday night. While admitting they are only interested in the outcome of the game, McAnuff said the participation at the recent Copa America tournament in Chile is also taking its toll.
Jamaica's semi final appearance matches their best achievement in the tournament's history, having reached the last four in 1993 and 1998. They will face the United States on Wednesday at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta after the host crushed Cuba 6-nil in their quarter final.
Meanwhile, another Caribbean team Trinidad and Tobago crashed out 6-5 in sudden-death penalties against Panama. The Trinidadians had come from behind to earn a 1-1 draw in full and extra time.
Mexico needed a controversial penalty in the last minute of extra time to beat Costa Rica 1-0.
Mexico and Panama face off in the other semi-final on Wednesday.
The final takes place on Sunday July 26 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
