Rivoli United gave their Red Stripe Premier League survival a push with a nervy 4-3 win over fourth placed UWI FC at the Prison Oval on Sunday.
Rivoli struck early and led 2-0 until the 38th minute when Deno Schaffe scored to reduce the deficit for UWI heading into half-time. Rivoli got another quick double in the second half, but had to fight to hold off UWI.
The Boys’ Town/Reno game at the Barbican field was rained out.
In the late kick off, Waterhouse’s relegation woes worsened after they gave up a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 to Harbour View at Drewsland.
Jermaine ‘Tuffy’ Anderson opened the scoring for Waterhouse in the 58th minute before Nicholas Beckett struck a late double for Harbour View including the winner in time added on.
