Simone Forbes elected 1st VP of Netball Jamaica

Former national captain Simone Forbes is the new first vice president of Netball Jamaica, after being elected to the vacant post at Saturday's Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Jamaica Conference Centre.

Forbes who was previously a director of Netball Jamaica, defeated Garth Sommerville 43-23.

Meanwhile, Karlene Waugh assumed the post of treasurer, prevailing over Winston Dela Haye also by the margin of 43- 23.

The elected directors are Shaneil May, Karen Rosen-Baugh, Kenyan Shawn Murdock and Erica Ewbanks. The post of president was not contested at this year's AGM.
