Spencer headlines Jamaican cast for Bermuda Invitational

2014 Commonwealth Games champion Kaliese Spencer tops a field of several Jamaicans listed for Friday's inaugural Bermuda Invitational. Spencer will join Rushell Clayton in the 400 metres hurdles.

Also expected to compete are Kenia Sinclair, who has not competed in several years and Samantha James over 800 metres.

Jowayne Hibbert, who has ran several 400 metres this season and Ricardo Cunningham, who has been impressive over the 400 metre hurdles, will open their 800 metre season.

The 400 metres for women will feature Davita Prendergast, Dawnalee Loney and Jonique Day while the men's event will feature Riker Hylton, Chumaine Fitten and Peter Matthews. 100 metres Intercol champion Oshane Bailey is expected to compete in his pet event.

Jamaicans are also listed in the field events with national champion Demar Forbes and Nicholas Gordon listed for the long jump.
