Two time Caribbean Premier League winners the Jamaica Tallawahs will play the Trinbago Knight Riders in their opening game of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) for 2018 at the Queen's Park Oval on August 10. The Tallawahs will then head home to Sabina Park and play the St Lucia Stars and the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots on August 14 and 15.
After these games, the Tallawahs will then play seven matches on the road before the playoffs bowl off on September 11. Since the inception of the Caribbean Premier League in 2013, the Tallawahs have advanced to the playoffs in every season. The only other franchise to do the same is the Guyana Amazon Warriors.
