Taylor to move training base to Florida

National junior 400 metres record holder and reigning senior champion Christopher Taylor is set leave Jamaica in the coming weeks for Florida to work with a world-rated coach, according to his management team. The 19-year-old sprinter will be joining coach Rana Reider, who has conditioned the likes of Olympic and World Championship medallists Andre de Grasse, Daphne Schippers, and Christian Taylor.

It’s understood that after “Champs” this year, Taylor took some times to look at the facilities in Florida before committing to this decision. Taylor has been a medallist for Jamaica at the IAAF World Youth and junior levels alongside the Carifta Championship.
