Vice president Gregory Daley to take over as JFF General Secretary

Vice president of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF), Gregory Daley is poised to become the organization's next general secretary, effective January 1, 2026.

Radio Jamaica Sports sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, say Daley, who currently chairs the JFF’s Competitions Committee, will replace Roy Simpson, who has been serving in the post on an interim basis until December 31.

Simpson has been serving since Dennis Chung resigned on May 28 to take up the position of Chief Technical Director of the Financial Investigations Division (FID).

Efforts to obtain official confirmation were unsuccessful. Telephone calls to JFF president Michael Ricketts went unanswered up to sports time on Tuesday, while Daley declined to comment on the reported development earlier Tuesday afternoon.

It remains unclear who will assume Daley's current roles as vice president and chairman of the Competitions Committee.
