The JSE Index advanced by 2,330 points on Thursday to close at 316,258 points, while the Junior Market Index advanced by 21 points to close at 3,733 points.
Among the 48 winners were: Consolidated Bakeries, Derrimon Trading, Image Plus Consultants, Margaritaville Turks, Proven Group.
The 43 losers included: Sygnus Credit Investments 8.5 per cent preference shares, Barita Investments, Sagicor Real Estate X Fund, A.S. Bryden and Sons Holdings, and 138 Student Living Jamaica variable preference shares.
Twenty-one stocks traded firm.
