The JSE Main Index gained 1,228 points on Wednesday, while the Junior Market declined by 10 points.
Among the 41 winners were: Guardian Holdings, Eppley 7.5 per cent preference shares, The LAB, Gwest Corporation and Radio Jamaica.
The 44 losers included: Paramount Trading, Sygnus Real Estate Finance Jamaica Dollar shares, Blue Power Group, Salada Foods Jamaica and MPC Caribbean Clean Energy.
Seventeen stocks closed the session, selling at the same price they started trading.
