Mayor Micheal Belnavis re-admitted to hospital

Mayor of St Anns Bay Micheal Belnavis has been re-admitted to hospital for supervision after being chopped by an intruder at his residence in St Mary on Monday night.
 
The mayor was initially released Monday night after being treated for his wounds, but was subsequently re-admitted Tuesday afternoon after feeling discomfort.
 
Radio Jamaica News was informed that about 11 o'clock Monday night, the mayor entered his home when he was pounced upon by an intruder who inflicted chop wounds to his upper body. 
 
Mayor Belnavis reportedly managed to drive himself to St Ann's Bay Regional Hospital where he was treated and released.
