Jamaican-American singer Sean Kingston is in critical condition after a jet ski crash in the United States.
He is in a Miami hospital after crashing into a bridge.
Up to early Monday morning Kingston was being treated in a trauma ward, due to the nature of his severe injuries.
It is reported that the crash happened around 6:00 p.m. when Kingston drove his jet ski into the bridge which connects Palm Island with MacArthur Causeway.
Kingston and a female passenger were rushed to the Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Details about the condition of the woman were not immediately available.
Officials are investigating the cause of the crash.
The 21-year-old Miami-born singer gained fame in 2007 with his single Beautiful Girls.
He recently performed live with Justin Bieber.
The artist changed his name from Kisean Anderson to Sean Kingston to reflect his Jamaican heritage.
