One man is dead and another is nursing gunshot wounds
following a shooting at a bar in Rocky Point, Clarendon Wednesday night.
Dead is 51-year-old Noel Thompson also called "Bob" of Rocky Point.
Reports are that Mr. Thompson was among a group of men having drinks at a bar in the community, when he was shot and killed.
It is reported that a black car drove up to the bar and one man got out of the vehicle and shot Mr. Thompson, killing him on the spot.
Another man was shot and injured while trying to prevent the gunman from shooting Mr. Thompson.
The man then escaped in the waiting vehicle.
