Montego Bay completes clean-up today, following Friday's flood

Final clean-up activities are scheduled to take place today in sections of Montego Bay, St. James which were extensively flooded on Friday.

Several neighbourhoods were inundated following several hours of heavy rain in the afternoon, flooding streets and disabling vehicles trapped in the water.

Mayor of Montego Bay Homer Davis told RJR News every effort is being made to restore normality today, with work teams being deployed to “clear whatever silt might have accumulated on the streets as a result of this excessive rain.”
