2 newcomers in Reggae Boyz squad for next World Cup qualifying window

Two newcomers and five players who missed the first two CONCACAF final round World Cup qualifiers have been named in the Reggae Boyz 26-man squad for their October qualifiers.

However, only two local-based players found favour with coach Steve McClaren. The newcomers are inform Inter-Miami midfielder Ian Fray and 17 year old national youth striker Seymour Reid of New York City FC.

Those returning from injuries are Ethan Pinnock, Amari Bell, Mason Holgate, Bobby Reid and Demarai Gray alongside captain Andre Blake.

The Mount Pleasant FA pair of midfielder Jahshaun Anglin and goalkeeper Tafari Chambers are the only local based players called-up.

The other members of the squad are: goalkeeper Jahmali Waite; defenders: Joel Latibeaudiere, Richard King, Dexter Lembikisa, Greg Leigh and Damion Lowe.

Midfielders: Isaac Hayden, Bobby Reid, Jon Russell, Karoy Anderson and Kasey Palmer.

Forwards: Bailey-Tye Cadamarteri, Shamar Nicholson, Rumarn Burrell, Kaheim Dixon, Renaldo Cephas and Tyreece Campbell.

Jamaica will play Curacao on October 10 away before returning home to face Bermuda on October 14 at the National Stadium in a match which could seal World Cup qualification.
