"Bunny" Shaw nominated for CONCACAF Women's POY Award

Reggae Girl Khadijah 'Bunny' Shaw has once again been nominated for the CONCACAF Women's Player of the Year award for 2024/25.

The 2024/25 season nominees were selected based on performance statistics and the input of football experts. Shaw made history with Jamaica and Manchester City by becoming the first CONCACAF player to win the PFA Women's Player of the Year award in 2024.

She was also named Player of the Year in the WSL and FWA awards and nominated for the best FIFA women's player 2024. Shaw finished the season with her club as the WSL Golden Boot winner, scoring 12 goals. 

The other nominees in the women's category are Charlyn Corral and Jacqueline Ovalle of Mexico, Melchie Dumornay of Haiti and the American pair of Emily Fox and Lindsey Heaps. The CONCACAF Women's Player of the Year will be decided by 100 votes in total.
