Cycling coach calls for more help for the sport locally

Cycling coach Robert Farrier says more needs to be done for the local cycling community. This, after Dahlia Palmer won a bronze medal in women's cycling at the just-concluded Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile.

Speaking on Hitz 92 FM’s Sports Grill recently, Farrier who is fighting a 12 month ban by the Jamaica Cycling Federation, said in order for the local governing body to get additional funding, there should be better communication.

Meanwhile, Palmer, who won a bronze in the women's Kirin event at the Pan Am Games, says that more attention needs to be given to the athletes in the sport.
