DaCosta still confined to ICU at UHWI

Reliable sources have informed Radio Jamaica Sports that former champion trainer Wayne DaCosta is in stable condition after being hospitalized recently because of complications said to be COVID-19 related, along with pneumonia.

The 18 time champion trainer has been hospitalized since Saturday and is the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on a ventilator. 

DaCosta has saddled over 2,000 winners, including seven in the Jamaica Derby, the most recent being King Arthur in 2020.
