4-time Jamaican champion jockey Dane Nelson rode his first winner at the Woodbine Race Track in Toronto, Canada after capturing the third event on Friday's 10-race card.
Nelson made all the running aboard the 4 year old bay gelding Computer Hacker who went off at 9-2 in the claiming contest for 3 year old and up over 7 furlongs on the all-weather track for a purse of $26,200.
Nelson began riding at Woodbine on November 8, after stints at Century Mile and Century Downs earlier this season.
Computer Hacker is conditioned by Jamaican-born trainer Kerron Palmer.
