Former national youth player Rennico Clarke has joined United Soccer League (USL) side Swope Park Rangers until the end of the season. This is the second club in the USL that the 23 year old defender will be playing for as between 2015 and 2017 he played with the Portland Timbers second team. In 2018, Clarke played with Icelandic club Hafnarfjard and made his debut in the UEFA Europa League.
Clarke will be hoping to make his debut for the club on Saturday against Nashville SC. Swope Park Rangers is the feeder team for Major League Soccer (MLS) side Sporting Kansas City. If Clarke impresses, he could be one of five players to be promoted to the MLS outfit in 2020.
