With the aim of strengthening its role in the global fight against doping, the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCO), has signed a new partnership with the anti-doping agency of Lithuania.
Facilitated by the global anti-doping watchdog, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), the agreement is set to boost JADCO’s capabilities in intelligence gathering, investigations and anti-doping education.
In a press release on Thursday, Executive Director June Spence-Jarrett said the partnership is a major step forward, giving Jamaica access to international expertise and best practices.
The agreement forms part of WADA's wider initiative linking National Anti-Doping Organizations (NADOs) across Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe, creating a unified network to support cleaner sport and stronger anti-doping systems worldwide.
