JNA/3M Development Squad carrying out monthly camps

The drive to prepare Jamaica's team for the 2013 World Youth Netball Championship is taking shape, with the Jamaica Netball Association's (JNA's) 3M Development Squad completing another three day camp.

The next world youth netball championship is set for Glasgow, Scotland and though it may be three years away, the JNA is pulling out all the stops to ensure they get to the gold medal match.

Monthly camps are being held across the island to select the squad for the championship and over the weekend, the 3M Development Squad completed the fifth of their monthly training camps at the Bethlehem Teachers College in St. Elizabeth.

There are plans to have at least three more such camps, but for Coach C. Lloyd Walker, the overall programme is geared towards replenishing the senior squad.

Players are drawn from schools across the island for the camps.

The next camp is set for G.C. Foster College in January.
