Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz remain in the race for automatic World Cup qualification after a 1–1 draw with Trinidad and Tobago in their penultimate CONCACAF final round qualifier at the Hasely Crawford Stadium on Thursday night.
The Jamaicans looked on course for all three points when Renaldo Cephas fired them ahead in the 53rd minute, but Trinidad and Tobago hit back late with Kevin Molino equalizing in the 85th.
The result drops Jamaica to second in Group “B’ on 10 points, after Curaçao moved to the summit with 11 following their 7–0 win over Bermuda.
It now comes down to Tuesday's final match at the Ntional Stadium in Kingston, where the Reggae Boyz must beat Curaçao to book their second ever World Cup trip, and their first since France 1998.
