The Professional Football Jamaica Limited (PFJL) will be at least one venue short when the Jamaica Premier League (JPL) gets underway next month.
Sabina Park which was expected to be one of the venues where the league would be played, will be unavailable, due to Pakistan’s cricket tour of the Caribbean.
President of the Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) Wilford "Billy" Heaven made the disclosure. Heaven says with the Pakistanis expected to play two test matches at Sabina with the first starting on August 12, there's no way the playing of football can be facilitated.
