Windies complete clean sweep of T20I series against Bangladesh

Romario Shepherd secured a hattrick as the West Indies completed a 3-0 sweep of Bangladesh in their T20 International series after winning the third and final game by 5 wickets in Chattogram on Friday.

Bangladesh who won the toss and elected to bat, were bowled out for 151 with Tanzid Hasan top scoring with 89, as Shepherd bagged 3-36, Khary Pierre 2-23 and Jason Holder 2-32. Shepherd joined Jason Holder as the only West Indians to take a hattrick in T20 internationals.

The West Indies who were set 152 to win, got to 152-5 in 16.5 overs. Player of the game and stand-in captain Roston Chase and Ackeem Augusts each making 50.

Rishad Hossain claimed 3-43. The series victory ended a losing streak of seven bilateral T20I series in a row for the Caribbean side.
