Yohan “The Beast” Blake ran a blistering 19.54 at Friday’s Brussel Diamond League to win the men’s 200 metres.
Blake, the Olympic 200m silver medalist and the second fastest man in history over the distance, was impressive in victory.
However like his Racers training partner Usain Bolt had hinted at breaking the 9.76 meet record he had set in 2011, Blake also hinted at taking a crack at the 19.26 meet record that he had set the year before.
That was not be but takes nothing away from Blake’s run. Here are the results.
