Champion trainer saddles the winner of both trophy races at Caymanas Park

The 7-2 chance Interestntimesahead under a brilliant ride from jockey Anthony Allen, scored a battling victory in the third running of the Will in Charge Trophy event over a mile, the feature event on Sunday's 9-race card at Caymanas Park.

The former Jamaica St Leger winner went about setting the early fractions alongside Shooting Star before assuming the ascendancy 6 furlongs out.


The 4 year old bay colt covered the trip in 1:40.1 minutes to win by two and a quarter lengths.

The win closed out a double for champion trainer Jason DaCosta who had earlier saddled the 1-2 favourite Taylor made with Abigail Able astride in the supporting feature, the Sunnyside Stakes for native-bred 2 year old fillies over 5 furlongs round.
 
Reigning champion jockey Raddesh Roman and 4-time former champion Dane Nelson each had a double, while 3-time former champion Anthony "Baba" Nunes also had two wins among the trainers. Racing continues on Friday with 11 events slated for the Boxing Day programme.
